Off topic, but when I looked for the US in end times prophesy in the Bible, I couldn't find it--long ago. I wondered about that, then, but from the trends of the past few decades, I can see our path to irrelevance. Considering that I come from a family here early on, well before independence from England, related to a Signer of The Declaration of Independence, and who have a longstanding tradition of fighting for Liberty, I must admit my chagrin is inestimable, while reminding myself I am only one voice in an ever growing multitude, many of whom no longer speak the language of the Founders nor understand the basic concepts which guided them.
In all likelihood, we will balkanize, some zones more adept at self sufficiency, trade, and defense than others. Even that will not be pretty. IF/When that happens, the parasite populations will revolt, and decent people will resort to means they would never have considered to defend or provide for themselves and their own, or die in the attempt.
