He only "has them" if they are forced to vote that way on the first ballot.  With enough abstentions on the first ballot he has no delegates on the second and subsequent ballots.

And, in the less-likely event that a "conscience clause" is passed by the convention, he doesn't even "have them" on the first ballot.

You realize that we wouldn't even be having this conversation if Trump weren't such an atrocious candidate....

Nothing the delegates could do at the Convention to stop Trump would be as disastrous as not stopping him.

Going down in flames for a good cause isn't pretty but going down in flames for Donald Trump is hideous.

You say hes an atrocious candidate. 15 Million voters and most of those who voted for some body else in the Primary but had trump as their 2nd choice said he was not so bad as you claim.
