Willie Geist was reporting on NBC's "The Toady Show" this morning on the death of the commander of the Tuskegee Airmen, and listing his many accomplishments. Things went fine until this buffoon announced that Roscoe Brown (the commander) was the "First American pilot to shoot down a Nazi aircraft in WW-2"!
Roscoe Brown didn't even graduate from flight school in Alabama until the 12th of March 1944,and we went to war with the Nazi's in Dec of 1941.
Does that ignorant fool actually think it took us 3 years to shoot down a Nazi airplane? Or does he know he is lying and taking credit away from a white pilot and giving to a black pilot in order to be PC and please his bosses?
The sad part is there are now a huge group of ignorant semi-educated fools running around who will hear this nonsense on teebee, and believe it to be true BECAUSE they heard it on teebee from NBC news.
Here is the link to todays PC Piece.
http://www.today.com/news/life-well-lived-tuskegee-airman-roscoe-brown-t100683 BTW,another popular myth in the media is that there was NOT one ONE SINGLE BOMBER shot down by the Nazi's that were escorted by the Tuskegee Airmen. Granted, most of the Nazi fighters had already been shot down and all of their top pilots killed before the Tuskegee Airmen entered the war,but it is still BullBush.
ACTUAL history reports the first US Army Air Force bombing raid on occupied Europe happened on 17 Aug 1942. It's a wonder any survived if we are to believe our white pilots were so incompetent it took them two years to shoot down the first Nazi fighter attacking a bombing formation.

What say you,MODS?
