Michelle Obama, along with daughters Sasha and Malia, are in Africa wasting taxpayer money to promote the First Lady’s Let Girls Learn initiative. By now, we are fairly used to Michelle taking lavish vacations and pointless goodwill trips that cost us hundreds of thousands and even millions of dollars, but this one is different. At a stop in Morocco, Michelle casually gave away $100 million, which we all worked hard to earn, so that girls in that country can go to school.

The really annoying part is we'll be hearing about those two young ladies for the next 30 years.  They're part of the ruling elite now.  Most certainly in line for some important govt post.

As long as she's handing out U.S. taxpayers' money to Moroccan schools, shouldn't she also impose her Mooch the Nutritionist dietary restrictions on them? No soda! No cookies! Will she order Moroccan schools to let trannies into the wrong rest room*?

*Do they have rest rooms there? A friend of mine who ived there several months said she frequently saw people relieving themselves by the side of the road.

The Obama girls are stepping up their style game!

First Lady Michelle Obama appeared ultra-chic on Tuesday, coordinating outfits with her and President Barack Obama's daughters, Malia, 17, and Sasha, 15, for a traditional iftar dinner at the King Palace in Marrakech, Morocco.

FLOTUS, 52, opted for a black-and-white paisley-printed dress, which she paired with drop earrings and black stilettos. Her fashionable daughters both sported frocks symbolic of the culture in a similar pattern, featuring various shades of white, purple and pink.

The trio was joined by 38-year-old Moroccan Princess Lalla Salma, who wore a glamorous white outfit with silver and yellow embellishments.


Meryl Streep was there too, looking equally regal in a white dress, gold necklace and hoop earrings.

The Obamas were visiting Morocco as part of Michelle's Let Girls Learn initiative, which is aimed to educate young girls and help them "build a healthier family, a stronger community and a brighter future."

Earlier this month, Michelle proved that the girls aren't the only ones in the first family that have a sense of style and charisma. While sitting down with Oprah Winfrey at the United States of Women summit in Washington, D.C., she couldn't stop gushing over her husband's "swagalicious" walk.

"Good lord. Watching my husband walk off of Marine One and go to the Oval Office, it's like, mmm!" she admitted. "And you know he's got that walk, right? Mmm, mmm, mmm."

Hi boys and girls; I’m in  Marrakesh! To tell them how important it is to let girls learn! if they just study hard, do all the right things they, too, can grow up to be the Queen of Morocco! And host a lovely little Iftar dinner…for the ladies, segregated from the menfolk. Because, you see, in Muslim countries women are still considered chattel; inferior, subservient beings to be owned and traded! Not much better than dogs, really. Butt let’s let them learn. To be fair, the royal family owns Crown assets which spin off a lot of money that can be used for their personal enjoyment.

There ain't nothing fair about a president and family that spends a whopping $1.5 BILLION dollars o n themselves every year while the government denies seniors, disabled people and veterans a measly $40-$60 or so cost of living increase to keep up with rising costs because their annual income comes out to around $14,000 per year o n the low end, which many are at-

I am not against a president and family begin paid well and living well- but $1.5 BILLION expenditure per year while the country is hurting, massively, and while denying seniors, veterans and disabled people a meager cost of living increase for most of the years he was in office, is disgusting- And I'm willing to wager that the crown doesn't generate $1.5 BILLION dollars per year for the royal family?

By the time the current president leaves office- he and his family will have spent a disgusting 12 billion dollars on themselves in just 8 years- Yuo can bet they never had to choose between food and heat, food and medicines- heat and new clothes- etc-

Trip aimed to promote ‘Let Girls Learn’

First Lady Michelle Obama’s one night stay in Morocco cost taxpayers over $600,000 in hotel and car rental costs alone.

Mrs. Obama traveled to the North African country with her daughters Sasha and Malia and mother Marian Robinson to promote her education initiative “Let Girls Learn.” She arrived in Morocco wearing a $1,750 designer dress and ended the night with a “lavish dinner” with Princess Lalla Salma and actress Meryl Streep.

Rooms were booked at three five-star hotels for the 24-hour visit, according to contracts signed off by the State Department.

Two contracts were signed for rooms at the Royal Mansour worth $50,000 and $10,073. The five-star hotel has a mother-daughter spa suite, promises its guests “wonder, luxury and unparalleled services,” and offers a “spiritual spa journey.”

The Hotel Sofitel Marrakech Lounge and Spa was also booked for Mrs. Obama’s trip, including contracts worth $200,000, $31,968, and $28,039. The Secret Service also stayed at the Sofitel for $133,493. A pre-advance visit cost $4,676.

Additional rooms were booked at the Pearl Marrakech Hotel, costing $24,934.

Renting a car and driver for Mrs. Obama’s visit cost $6,966, and other car service for Secret Service, the White House Military Office, and the White House Communications Agency totaled $122,173. In all, the contracts totaled $612,322.

Aside from hotel and motorcade costs, the Daily Mail estimates that flights for the trip totaled $300,000.

Morocco was the second stop on Mrs. Obama’s three-country visit. Obama first traveled to Liberia, and headed to Madrid on Wednesday to promote girls’ education.

People.com noted, “The exciting trip closely follows Malia’s graduation from Washington, D.C.’s private Sidwell Friends School.”
