One consistency in place when House Democrats took part in last week’s “heroic” sit-in on the chamber floor to force a vote on gun control was the rank hypocrisy that often defines the left-of-center political party.

The lawmakers were joined by several Democratic colleagues from the upper chamber and the media enthusiastically reported on the “unprecedented” action — House Republicans took a similar action in 2008 to much less fanfare — but who thought to check to see if any of the protesters are gun owners?

Well… News Corp’s Heat Street did and the results are not surprising.

We no longer have a Republic or representation in DC (with a few notable exceptions like Ted Cruz and Mike Lee.) Our "rulers" are 535 public servants who have set themselves up as royalty. They pass laws for us serfs that they do not have to follow, vote themselves raises and increase their perks and staff, and have benefits and retirement that the working people cannot ever hope to attain. Add the SC that legislates, and POTUS who decrees, and we have the mess we are in today.
