Clinton stretches lead over Trump to 14 points in national poll

Hillary Clinton regained a double-digit lead over likely general-election rival Donald Trump in a new poll released Friday.

The Reuters/Ipsos poll shows Clinton leading Trump 47 percent to 33 percent. Another 20 percent said they wouldn't support either candidate.

A RealClearPolitics polling average shows Clinton leading Trump 45 percent to 39 percent.

Trump's slip in the polls comes after federal filings showed he has raised surprisingly little money for a presumptive presidential candidate.

Campaign finance disclosures released earlier this week showed Trump's campaign finished May with just $1.3 million in the bank and raised $3.1 million.

Clinton raised $28.28 million in May and has more than $42 million cash on hand.

Trump's campaign responded to those reports by upping its calls for online donations, and Trump has tried to reassure voters that he and the Republican National Committee have raised "millions" in the past few weeks.

The poll was conducted online and included 1,201 likely voters in all 50 states. It has a margin of error of 3.3 percentage points.

By the time of the convention these push polls will have Trump in negative numbers so as to help the GOPe install a RINO. Common sense should tell you Orlando and the Speech plus Brexit make the Polls like this look like a joke.

He's been in negative numbers for a long time already.  Brexit has nothing to do Trump.  Orlando might have helped him if he could have kept his ego in check.  His speech was written for him.

Since January 1, Hillary has led in 93% of all head-to-head polls over Trump.   The only candidate in modern times who was polling lower than Trump is now was Jerry Ford in 1976 and he was at 29.  Even Walter Mondale was at 35%.

Nothing is helping Trump.  Brexit won't help him because nobody knows what it is.   And he screwed up the news conference anyway.

People with integrity tend to stick to one position...which is sorta the point. Whether they be political candidates or their followers. When someone plays both sides of the fence, integrity isn't even in the room.
