Veteran with PTSD told “no comfort dogs” while kicked out store with service dog
By Michele Katz|June 22nd, 2016|Military News, U.S. Army|0 Comments

Army veteran Joshua Schutt was medically discharged from the service following an injury in 2013.

He says without his four-year-old German Shepherd – ‘Hero’ – he wouldn’t be able to go out into society and do basic things.

His invisible scars haunt him every day, he says. The daily activities, made so difficult by his PTSD diagnosis, are bearable — thanks to Hero.

Sucks! Here in California the only question you  may ask the person who has the animal is if it is a service animal required because of a disability., you can not inquire for what, you may not ask for proof. As you might expect, abuse is rampant with many people of all ages and colors taking their ankle biters that they just can't be without into every grocery and department store around. The only plus is that people like this veteran don't get abused as much.
