If it was okay for Bill Clinton to say this about the problem of illegal immigration 20 years ago, why is it not okay for Donald Trump to say almost the exact same thing today?

Bill Clinton talks about border control, hiring illegal immigrants and implementing an executive order, of all things, to help stem the problem that was OBVIOUSLY an issue 20 years ago.

But now for some reason, liberals don't want to hear Donald Trump say this today.

How crazy is that?

I didn't hear Clinton calling Mexicans rapists and drug dealers.  Clinton says we should honor legal immigrants and Trump says Americans of "Mexican Heritage," can't be trusted.  Also Clinton spoke in complete sentences using multi-syllabic words.

It's been an issue since Reagan and before.  It hasn't been solved through border patrol and executive orders.  That is not the same thing as pandering to skin heads by suggesting mass deportation of 20 million people, or making Mexico pay for a impenetrable wall on the southern boarder while completely ignoring the northern boarder.
