Donald Trump’s campaign is preparing a sophisticated operation to fight back against resurgent plans by recalcitrant conservatives to deny him the nomination at next month’s Republican National Convention.

In a high-level Tuesday night conference call led partly by Trump’s top adviser Paul Manafort and including 200 staffers and volunteers, Trump’s senior convention aides sketched out a whip operation led by a half-dozen operatives with deep convention experience. The effort will rely on a team of 150 volunteers and paid staff to keep the convention’s 2,472 delegates in line, and it will utilize a database with information on many of the delegates.

The plans laid out during the call suggest that Trump’s campaign is working to reverse a narrative that it has lacked organization, and the planning also indicates that Trump’s aides are taking seriously efforts by his GOP opponents to out-maneuver him on the convention floor.

How much will stumpy accomplish?  If a delegate goes in "bound" to lying don, but preferring someone  - anyone - else to the orange fraud,  what power does stumpy have over a rules vote to free the delegates to vote their conscience?

And if that rule is voted in, what "whipping" action will keep those who, in good consciences can't vote for Satan's son?

His secret plan isn't secret.  His goons have already stated they'd release the personal information (home addresses, etc) of any delegate that didn't vote for him and encourage Trump supporters to show them the error of their ways.

Trump may lack a traditional "campaign organization" and possesses only a small fraction of his Democrat opponent's "war chest", but hey, he's got something far more important there: a team of, uh, yeah... "pro-fesh-uh-nuls"... not unlike those he has used to force reluctant real estate negotiators back to the table (Ehhhh...nice fam-uh-lee you got there; wanna see some...uh... pict-yahs of yuh wife?), and a brilliant "self-funded" campaign, where all the money contributed to him miraculously finds its way back to... himself.

Look. I saw this guy in action 30 years ago, when I lived in the Rotten Apple, and trust me, he's the same escumbaggio he was reputed to be back then, only fatter and more orange.
