Best Concealed Carry/Personal Defense Weapon

So I've been looking at a few guns as I await my return from the Old World...trying to determine what would make a good concealed carry weapon...not only for myself but my wife when I'm out on a mission.  Size, stopping power and weight all played a factor.  And cost did as well.

I realize everyone's tastes are different, but I think I've settled on this one as my first purchase.
