After getting word Taliban were entering the area two seals, along with Chopper went out to do their work........after finding a motorcycle still hot.......
Maroshek and his fellow SEAL told Chopper to patrol and look for threats and he instantly bolted into the brush on the side of the road............. In the bushes, chopper found two Taliban fighters and attacked them both. .....The attackers were so engrossed in dealing with Chopper they didn’t even realize the SEALs were moving into a deadly position..........“Had Chopper not been there, I would have been dead for sure. And they were armed to the hilt and it was an obvious ambush situation,” Navy SEAL Trevor Maroshek says of that fateful day in Afghanistan.
“One of the guys popped out of the bushes not realizing that we were even there. And as soon as he did, Chopper had him by the rib cage actually, he came up & took one look at us” ...and took a bullet straight into the forehead.... His fellow Taliban met the same fate after an even longer losing battle with Chopper.....
