Hillary Clinton's troubled brother-in-law, Roger Clinton, was busted in southern California Sunday night on suspicion of DUI, just two days before the state's high-stakes primary.
Roger Clinton — who earned the Secret Service codename "Headache" for his antics during President Bill Clinton's administration —was held on $15,000 bail. He is due in court on Monday, a police spokeswoman told the Daily News.
Clinton, 59, was arrested in Redondo Beach around 8 p.m. after a civilian reported him for "erratic" driving, police said. After field sobriety tests, he was booked on suspicion of driving under the influence. But he refused all chemical testing in jail, police said.
The bust came right before Hillary Clinton squares off against Bernie Sanders in the California primary vote — the biggest in the nation, with 548 delegates up for grabs. A Golden State loss would deal a major blow to her campaign, although Clinton needs less than 30 delegates to win the Democratic nomination.
This is Roger Clinton’s second DUI bust, after one in 2001.
President Bill Clinton, his older half-brother, pardoned him for a 1985 drug conviction right before leaving the White House. The younger Clinton, 59, is a former rock singer and bit part actor now living in the Los Angeles suburb Torrance.
Clinton's campaign did not return a request for comment.
