I tried applying for the TSA Pre-Check today.

If approved, I will supposedly be able to go through a faster security line where I don't have to take off my shoes/belt/jacket, won't have to take my laptop out and won't have to bag up my liquids.
Part of the approval process requires fingerprints.

To get fingerprints, you can either make an appointment or walk in.
In my area, the earliest appointment is August.
The line for walk-ins was over 6 hours long.

Perhaps you can work in another verse for the Pre-Check process.

I was going to point out that we have an Entertainment-Arts section, but on second thought just leave it here.

That was fun, my friend. Thanks. I even played along on my Fender in F# (four frets up) and thought about all those times one of those blue-shirted little dinks got a wee bit too close and personal with me on my way to a crappy meeting in another city I didn't want to attend anyway.

Thanks!  I picked F# because it was easiest on my voice - I couldn't growl this one like I could with a heavy metal tune.  Did you use a capo and open chords, or is your guitar in a D-based tuning?

I used a capo in this case. I've got my Yamaha FG-160 tuned down to D (mainly because the action is too damned high at E) but also because I play a lot of folk/country and it just works.

As for the TSA, I've definitely seen a difference between the staff at various airports. The ones at MHT my local airport in Manchester, NH are actually pretty nice, professional, and even helpful. But at EWR (Newark) or PHL (Philly).... ugggghh...

D is good for country. And yeah, generally the bigger the city, the bigger the pricks the TSA are.
