‘I’m Sick of This Sh*t’: Snoop Dogg Goes Off on Roots Revival, Encourages Boycott

The remake of the iconic miniseries Roots is starting its 4-day run tonight on the History Channel. It has received good reviews so far (the New York Times calls it “Roots for a Black Lives Matter era”), but Snoop Dogg isn’t particularly thrilled about it.

On Instagram earlier, the acclaimed rapper said he’s “sick of this shit”––referring to all the stories about slavery and black suffering coming out of Hollywood. “They’re just gonna keep beating that shit into our heads,” he said, “about how they kept beating us, huh?”

He asked why there aren’t more movies or TV shows about black success, before basically calling for a boycott:

Why not a movie about TODAY? Today there are thousands of Blacks slaves all over Africa and the Middle East, and the slave-owners are Blacks and Arabs. That is NOW. That is happening TODAY. Why go back 200 years when you can document it happening right now.

At this very minute there are Blacks all over the world being bought and sold, beaten and raped, every day of every week of every month of every year. And all we are supposed to worry about is what happened in America?

There were Black slaves when the Bible was written, 5000 years before America even existed. But, when you are pushing a political agenda instead of having a real debate about a global human rights issue, then facts and reality become meaningless.

Many of the educated Black people I know are not falling for this BLM crap, or for their racist ROOTS movie. They see it for exactly what it is, blatant incitement against innocent White people, and pushing the BLM "victim" agenda. Many Black people, like Snoop, are fed up with this nonsense. They know that it will only lead to more violence, and that it will wind up hurting Black people more than any other race in America.

It is impossible for any wound to heal, when groups like BLM, and their supporters (such as Obama) insist on constantly ripping the scab off at every opportunity.

The narrative of the left is that the CAPITALIST!!! U.S. has always been the most evil country in the world. No other country in the entire history of the planet has every done anything bad...all ills, past and present, can be laid at the feet of the U.S. ....that is according to the leftists.
And the left has succeeded in convincing many millions of numbskulls of that assertion.
So the left in the U.S. has told blacks that being victims is the way to go. The left would not exist if blacks and other minorities did not think themselves victims.
