Broadcasting a baseball game is no easy task. While the game's action normally influences the conversation, talking for approximately three straight hours can occasionally lead to some odd moments in the booth.

Kansas City Royals TV announcers Ryan Lefebvre and Rex Hudler experienced that Tuesday. The two invited Royals legend George Brett for a standard interview. Things took an odd turn when, after being asked a question about a Royals charity event, Brett took it as an opportunity to talk about Donald Trump.

At the same time, none of this should really come as a surprise. Brett has supported a number of Republican candidates in the past, and has never had a problem speaking his mind.

Kind of frivolous really ... Trump is the presumptive nominee.  As for all the Republicans getting behind Trump .... that's not going to happen.  Trump just keeps digging his hole deeper every day.
