Why this fixation on Cruz? He is not in the race.
As for Constitutionalist, where does Trump's health care plan line up (Article and Section please)? [I list that as an example]
I certainly don't see "taking care of everybody" as being listed in the Constitution (except for the Dems really twisted interpretation of the preamble)
Trump is constitutional in such areas as the 2nd Amendment, BLM (feds), EPA, Education, Religion, National security, etc. On health care we do not agree 100 percent but I can see where hes coming from. His plan has 2 parts: 1 it calls for freeing up the market and creating competition to expand the market and drive down costs for the vast majority of Americans.
2 is the part I do not like but can see why he looks at it that way. The homeless, Illegals, very poor etc already get and have been getting free medical care - such as by abusing emergency rooms etc for everything. We already pay for that and because its chaotic ad hoc its much more costly to us then normal routine health care costs. From what I understand he is talking about expanding medicare to that group, which we pay for now anyway, as a cost containment strategy.
Is that Constitutional? No. Obviously not. Its a reasoned cost containment strategy. Hopefully, with the eviction of the foreign parasite class, deregulation and local education it may be a temporary thing.
