Gohmert might be waiting to see if the delegates do the right thing and not vote Trump at the convention. With the daily Trump Trainwreck and the media turning on him as predicted, it could get interesting.

Gohmert is a realist. He's seen the results of the Ross Perot and Ron Paul fiascos.

Funny how being a realist is no longer an epithet amongst the Trump worshippers, at least when it comes to pro-Trump actions.  Paul Ryan is a realist, too, and look how much respect that gets him with the Trump worshippers.

So is Paul Ryan the realist now back in your good graces?  So now you accept that his compromises with the democrats were wise moves of a realist and not the kneeling over of a spineless wimp?  If Ryan's now rehabilitated, but hasn't changed any of his policies, then what do we need Trump for?  After all, once you rehabilitate Ryan Trump no longer has a lot of positives we can't get elsewhere but still has all the negatives he can't get away from.

It takes some longer than others to face reality.

The reluctant speaker probably is not endorsing Trump because he expects to step in at the convention and take the nomination. His refusal to endorse is certainly not because he is a conservative. Ryan, Obama's budget-boy, and Trump both love big government.

There may be some interesting maneuvers at the convention. Trump has not been nominated yet.
