As do The Detergents...kinda...one of the group is Ron Dante, lead singer of The Archies (Sugar, Sugar) & The Cuff Links (Tracy), etc.

Ahh...The Ohio Express, but none gum-related (though they did Chewy, Chewy & it wasn't a Star Wars reference)...however, here are a few more to gum up the works...

Fun video, I'd hesitate to call this Bubble Gum, in a way, with groups like the Mamas and Papas, the Seekers, Spanky and Our Gang and the 5th Dimension, I kind of see them more like this.

From what I understand, this group was from Maryland, the two girls are sisters, one of them went on into hospital administration. Though, it seems to me, like a rather obscure song, I watched a cover version by some teenage girls in Southern California. I like this, their other songs I heard are so-so. Very vibrant.

That one hit #32 on the pop charts in '69. They remind me of Spanky & Our Gang as well. Here's their only other charted song:

Those dance moves are a bit like Zumba, heck, if one loses weight to it, why not!

My friend has taught that and it is a party.
