Trump supporters use the most amazing mental gymnastics to rationalize Deceptive Donald's ever-changing policies/suggestions.

Trump is peeing down their legs and they think it is raining.

Better then having Billionaire liberals and Rinos scripting my every thought like the phony fauxconservative #neverTrump  does to its adherents.

I find it amusing that those who question Trump are accused of taking their marching orders from some fantasy cabal of liberals when it is our unshakable conservative principles that drive this.
Principles matter. Words matter.

@ScottinVA
Truth is Trump said he would probably have to raise the higher rate of his own plan.
We get the distinction.

I read that he said they'd "pay more". Where did you see that he was talking about a rate?

Not that his word means anything.

It's nothing new. 4 years ago(and every day since) I and others got bitched at for refusing to support the 'severe conservative' who has since done all in his power to torpedo literally every conservative candidate/effort that has made a go of it. The bottom line is liberals will fight to the death to have their liberal. Why they pretend to be conservative is beyond me.

Actually it's not beyond me. They do it to destroy conservativism, principle and anything good/constitutional. Thats what the left does regardless of what label they attach to themselves to do it.

From the American Thinker:

To the detriment of our politics, Bennett is absolutely right. The idea that words uttered by politicians matter to the voter is ludicrous. Those that take the time to study where a politician stands are cynical enough to realize that everything a politician says has a set shelf life. Barack Obama has exploited this to its fullest extent, flip flopping on so many issues it leaves one breathless.

The issue is credibility. Politicians don't have any. The media has even less. And the American voter now sees elections as TV dramas with heroes, villians, and comic relief. Who can use what bathroom has become a major national issue even while the world is blowing up and our economy is melting down.

Politicians are, as fictional TV anchor Howard Beale once noted of the TV industry, are in the boredom killing business. And one thing Trump is definitely not is boring. The more outrageous his words, the more votes he gets.

Even if what he says doesn't matter as far as policy is concerned.

You just can't make this stuff up.
This is nothing except  orange "hopey changey"!

Same lame excusing as obamabots.
Turns out nobama did exactly what he said. tRump will prove no different except which position or story are we to believe?

What a Shitz Creek we are up!

His position on Abortion is Pro-life with 3 exceptions, rape, health of mother and that other one. That position has not changed. The means of how to accomplish that objective are not his positions, they are possible courses of action to accomplish the goal. Swapping the means to accomplish a position for the position itself is a dishonest #neverTrump trick.
Then he is not pro life. An abortion doctor will tell you that they can always find a "health of the mother " reason to justify any abortion.

Just you wait until King Donald is making those decisions and NONE of them will be to any Trumpbot's liking. At least with nobamabots, we could plainly see they were unmistakable dumbasses.

I am amazed that they saw it when it was Obozo, but don't see it now with tRump. It is a cult of personality and they are gulping the Kool-Aid and heading back for seconds.

Thats not correct. his liberalism is exactly why they are supporting him. It's why they supported Romney, Ryan, Mitch and Bhoner when there were far far more conservative options available.

The Liberals in California proved that when then Governor Reagan signed a law allowing the state to perform abortions for those very same reasons.

It was a decision he publicly said that he came to regret after he signed it.
