Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump early Wednesday took credit for Anheuser-Busch rebranding its Budweiser beer as "America" for the summer.

"Mr. Trump, do you think you had something to do with Budweiser changing the name of their beer over the summer?" co-host Steve Doocy asked on "Fox and Friends," mentioning Trump's "Make America Great Again" slogan.

"I think so, they're so impressed with what our country will become that they decided to do this before the fact," Trump responded during the phone interview.

Follow up question should have been..."Mr Trump, can you certify that you do not suffer from delusions of grandeur? And related, have you been checked for Tourette's Syndrome"?

Another example of why #NeverTrump will be here for the duration.

What an arrogant demagogue.  And Steve Doucy should change his last name to Douchey.

His platform is Americanism. A business sees the Trump America First movement and capitalizes on it. Not rocket science, its good business sense. And not a one of the #neverTrump can show it would have happened other then with the Trump America First movement.

What kind of sycophantic question is that?

And not one of us cares what Budweiser tries to rename their beer as some sort of ill-fated publicity stunt.

What an asinine statement.   We also can't prove that the sun wouldn't have come up this morning without Trump.

So with Bush, Kaisch, etc at the top of the ticket do you really think pride in America would be an issue?

If only Bud would try to make the beer taste better, instead of this renaming gimmick.

If Trump changes his name to Budweiser, they'd both be tasteless lightweights.

Bud is cheap beer, not as cheap as say Schaeffer, Blatz, that class of beer; but that is what convenience stores sell. It is still a mainstream beer. I'll take it on a hot summer day. Sure, there are a lot better beers out there and you pay for it too.

Funny that Bud was sold to a Belgian Beverage Company in 2008.  InBev.  So much for the Orange Fool's America First PR campaign.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

I don't know if Budweiser changed their name for the summer because of Trump's slogan, but it seems to me more people will be getting drunk because of him directly.
America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign. -Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

Along with all the "Billy Beer" you purchased when Trump was a Democrat, or was that when he was in the reform party?
How did that investment work out for you?
