Much of Trump's history has been largely covered by the NYC media; Manhattanites are familiar with it all, but not the rest of the country.  That will change.  Wait until this statement breaks nationwide:  "Black guys counting my money! I hate it. The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yarmulkes every day."

His face has been on every magazine cover at the checkout for years. His divorces covered on every news and entertainment TV channel. I know he's better known than Biden and we know more about his past than we do about Obama. Trump is literally an open book, warts and all. What he has going for him is that he is real. He is not cookie cutter, silver-tongued politician. Even though he is everything most people are not, there is something about him that people identify with.
