BTW, if you are the only one left in the race and getting 61%, that is NOT good.

How many of that 39% are early voters? Rubios actually beat Kasich out in places, even though he had dropped out, because ballots had already been cast. A bell cannot be unrung.

To the thesis of the post: Trump is blowing it if he's still calling Cruz that. Now that Cruz is out of the race, it only infuriates people without attracting a single vote. He needs to stop it yesterday.

The easy answer is that he doesn't have anything more sustentative to say.... that's what his whole campaign has been and he can't change. Likely the more accurate answer is there are conversations going on that we don't know about.... and King Trumpy is afraid that this isn't completely over.
