I do not watch TV but listen to radio - Sirius XM - so I listen pretty carefully. Verbal incoherence kinda make me think, "What did I just hear? He's making a statement and contradicting it with his next breath.."

When I read his words  in writing, I'm thinking, "How would you even diagram that sentence?"

Yet he employs 22,000 people and is worth billions of dollars. Must be luck, eh?  :silly:

That's all he has.
Excuse me, but I'm not the one that was suspended from the board a few days ago.

When the article expressly quotes:
Quote
He then said he thinks he'll win "even if we're not together. There are some people I honestly don’t want their endorsement.” (...) there should be and there has to be unity. Would I win, can I win without it? I think so."
...and then someone asks me "where did he say he didn't need our support?" How am I supposed to answer that? He said it right there! He said he can win with or without us, and that there are people whom he doesn't want our "endorsement." One would have to be playing dumb or actually be extremely ignorant to actually come even to the possibility that he did not say what he said.

There is an element of Irony there when you mention luck.   I mean he has made most of his money owning Casinos.....

Every time I get on a plane I employ thousands of people.  We have no idea what he's really worth - other than the "truthful hyperbole" he feeds us - because, amongst other things, he still hasn't released those long-promised tax returns.  Just another promise he's promiscuously broken.

If he manages to get the nomination..... we'll find out a ton of interesting tidbits about King Trumpy.   You can bet Hitlery has an opposition research folder on Trumpy that could sink a bass boat.

Oh yes they do.  Remember that guy who snuck the videocam into the private talk by Romney who recorded the infamous 47% remark?  I have no doubt they've already got those mole teams working full time.

Your problem is understanding English. He didn't say I don't need their support, he said I think I can win without their support. Try to concentrate and focus. Words have meanings.

I don't need their support....... I think I can win without their support.      I'm educated.... I'm not sure there is a functional difference there.   I think either statement can accurately imply the other.  Do you really disagree that one implies the other?  Seriously?

There's no luck in profiting from owning casinos. I've never understood why people gamble knowing the odds are so much against them.

A+Lert will wear you out.  I don't know if  you're old enough to remember A+Bert on FR from years ago, but they resemble each other.  You'll feel like you're chasing your tail with this one. Best to put him on ignore.

And yet the casinos still went into bankruptcy.  If luck (good or ill) isn't involved, then that reflects even worse on Trump.

Then why did one of Trump's casinos go broke?  He bankrupted the Taj Mahal. How does a casino go broke?

If he thinks he can win without it, than he doesn't need it. It's not a hard concept to understand, and I'm sure you understand it, it's just that you're engaging in Clinton-level "what the definition of is is" tactics here.

I do remember A+Bert.   Hadn't thought of him in a LONG LONG time.   I was 1999 vintage FR.    Thanks for the advice  :)

Simply means tha I  will actively work FOR Gary Johnson.

Do you know who Gary Johnson is?  He ran 4 years ago...and I think he is more liberal than McCain.

Or Oprah.

Or Caitlyn Jenner.

I mean, there should be at least ONE Republican on the ticket.

Then why did one of Trump's casinos go broke?  He bankrupted the Taj Mahal. How does a casino go broke?

I'm surprised you couldn't figure it out.  :silly:

(Reuters) - Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc , which operates two casinos in Atlantic City, joined the list of casino operators in New Jersey that have filed for bankruptcy.

Trump Entertainment operates the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort and the Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City.

The casino industry in Atlantic City is declining due to growing competition from new rivals in the northeastern United States and a fall in disposable income.

Around 8,300 people are losing jobs in Atlantic City with three casinos closing in less than a month.

Showboat, a Caesars Entertainment Corp property, and Revel closed recently, while Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino is due to close on Sept. 16.

If Trump needs no unity nor help from us,  does he think he can run the country without unity or help??  He will have one hell of a job one way or the other.http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/Smileys/default/chair1.gifhttp://www.gopbriefingroom.com/Smileys/default/chair1.gif

Trump already has the endorsements of Vlad Putin, Mike Tyson, and David Duke.  He doesn't need or want GOP endorsements.

I remember and I already have!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."
