Wonder how Trump felt about the OJ verdict?   Being that OJ attended his wedding, I think we can all guess.   And the Clinton Sex Scandal, how about that?    In 2008, Trump Dismissed Clinton Sex Scandal as ‘Totally Unimportant’

That is all anyone would need to know about Trump in a sane world

I've lost count of how many times I've found myself saying that.

This fool is going to get STOMPED in the GE.  It boggles the mind that with the huge field we had, THIS is who we get for the nominee.   **nononono*

I'm not exaggerating when I say that I'm newly stunned by it every day.  How did we get here?  Trump admitted last July that he was a Democrat in many ways.  That should have been an immediate disqualification, but no one seemed to bat an eye.

How? For starters - too much television.

The only response I see from trump supporters is the belief that Tyson was innocent....cannot even condemn endorsements from low-life people like Tyson.

Yes, Sarah Palin must be fuming. *bouche*

And the black guys of course we gotta get some of them pink cheek before going back to the ghetto. Everybody's gotta get their share of love you know? Isn't that beautiful to hear that Palin got boned out by a black guy? She's not a bad person because she likes black people… at least in her.

America needs no words from me to see how your decision in Roe v. Wade has deformed a great nation. The so-called right to abortion has pitted mothers against their children and women against men. Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. The right to life does not depend, and must not be declared to be contingent, on the pleasure of anyone else, not even a parent or a sovereign. -Blessed Mother Teresa of Calcutta

i never believed he did it either

The nine-person jury -- who reviewed the evidence and heard the testimony -- vehemently disagrees.

On @FoxNewsSunday, Chris Wallace confronted Trump about his touting of the Mike Tyson endorsement:

Tyson was convicted of rape and served three years in prison.  Trump still appears to be where he was when he said this:

Quote
“You have a young woman that was in his hotel room late in the evening at her own will,” Trump said in an NBC Nightly News video package obtained by BuzzFeed News through the Vanderbilt University Television News Archive. “You have a young woman seen dancing for the beauty contest—dancing with a big smile on her face, looked happy as can be.”
“It’s my opinion that to a large extent, Mike Tyson was railroaded in this case,” Trump also said in the package, which aired on Feb. 21, 1992.

We used to say "character matters" in reference to Bill Clinton, but we have thrown that idea out the window, it seems.

It appears that just being a character is all that matters for a certain segment of the voting populous.

It's Goebbel's 'Big Lie' technique.  Tell a 'Yuge' lie often and loud enough and the people will accept it as truth.  Educated Germans fell for it... and so have a plurality of the GOP primary voter base.

The fact that Chris Wallace did not challenge Trump on his statement that Cruz was lying about Tyson being a rapist was quite telling.  A man tells you, an experienced journalist, that Mike Tyson is not a rapist, and you don't even ask for a clarification?  In truth, Trump has them scared to death that if they treat him poorly he will cut them off again, and CNN will get all the interviews.  Wallace ought to be ashamed of himself.  Everyone in the media should.  But they are in love with a Trump/Hillary ratings bonanza, and so they will wait until after the convention to cut him off at the knees.

SO a man who said its not rape if its your wife, a guy who defended Bill Clinton, a guy who can out-perv Howard Stern, a guy who hosts porn conventions at his Taj Mahal, a guy who said you have to treat women like #@!$ now comes out to defend a rapist....

I am so shocked.

not.

Chris Wallace is a prime example of what a journalist is not. In the tank for the NY liberal.

The politically observant portion of the GOP (a.k.a. the GOP primary voter) has cocooned itself in its own little echo chamber of blogs, websites, and talk radio.  And this is the result.  We saw it in 2012 with Romney, too.

The 'GOPe' even came up with a plan to counteract this pernicious threat.  But the plurality has doubled-down on the very problem that caused our loss in 2012.  And anyone not supporting Trump can see the echo-chamber those supporters are cocooning themselves inside.

That's why we're left with Trump in the lead for the primaries.

I didn't watch so thanks for the report!  And you are right! It is quite telling!

It's a pattern repeated over and over. Trump makes clearly wrong statement, then tacks on a string of non sequiturs, and the interviewer just lets it go, as if the dog has not really shat upon the carpet, despite the smell that is overpowering.
