If you think you can hide the alt-right, you are in for a rough year.  The networks will make sure they and their Trump badges are on full display.

Intelligent voters recognize BS.

During his 1956 presidential campaign, a woman called out to Adlai Stevenson "Senator, you have the vote of every thinking person!" Stevenson called back "That's not enough, madam, we need a majority!"

Obama got it from the unintelligent majority.

The Republican embrace of Trump is a progressive's dream come true.  Trump is going to inflict long term damage, particularly with millennials, women, college graduates, and ethnic minorities.  There is just no getting around it.  A large chunk of his supporters are not fond of those groups, so they don't care.

I think you've nailed it here, cato.

A lot of Trump supporters have issues with women so they don't give a rip that Trump denigrates and abuses women.

When you consider that 60 percent of Republican primary voters reject Trump, one can assume that it's an even greater percentage of women (are there any stats on that?).

I can't even imagine how high the numbers will be against Trump in the general among women.  And there's no way to win the general with 70-80% of half the population despising you.

If Trump gets our nomination, we're going to get creamed in November........

(And when Hillary is elected, the blame will rest squarely on the shoulders of Trump's loyal, albeit unthinking, followers).

Because they have endorsed a populist liberal candidate.

Isn't it amazing that criticizing a "conservative" for endorsing a Progressive is now supposedly a bad thing?

Trump is a liberal.  NO conservative should be endorsing him.

I'm not so sure..I think he will give it back as good as he gets it...I think he thrives on confrontation.

As for women, as I mentioned in another  thread  he is a Alpha rich male and women will ignore his indiscretions just as in the SNL Tom Brady skit.
You seem to have a pretty low opinion of women with that generalization.

You seem to have a pretty low opinion of women with that generalization.

Every woman I've talked to (in real life) regardless of their political views, from Progressive to ultra-conservative, despises Donald Trump.  I think it's folly for people to think that women don't care about misogyny in a Presidential candidate.

Anyone who has actually put thought into his habit of verbal abuse and degrading of women as well as his rampant sexual promiscuity, cannot disregard this level of evil.

From the article:
"So it's no surprise that he has started to attack his main rival for the American presidency, Hillary Clinton, on gender grounds, claiming that she lacks the strength, stamina, and credibility to run the country."

I think o'er-the-hillary ought to be "attacked" on each and every count above. With gusto.

Bravo, Mr. Trump.

Bravo, Mr. Trump.

Trump's older than Hillary.  And if he attacks her age and gender, 53% of those who vote won't take it too kindly.

I forget though.  Trump can't attack her on policy because he doesn't know what his policies are from one day to the next.
