Cruz Plans 'Major' Announcement Amid VP Speculation

A couple of news sources are now reporting that Cruz will announce Fiorina as his VP. Well...I was hoping it was something a little more ... and I'm hoping with that announcement, it will help him secure Indiana.  I just don't think she's got enough going for her, but then again she's one intelligent, feisty female.  Perhaps at 6 p.m. Trump will announce Christie; everywhere Trump is we see Christie.  If Trump announces Christie as his VP ... that in itself might just sink him.  Christie has been seen as none other than Barry's buddy and the people in NJ wanted to throw him out.

I have no problem being politically invesTED in a capable, knowledgeable and serious conservative.

On the other hand, I would be embarrassed beyond words to associate myself with a rude, obnoxious, poorly-educated bully who gleefully whips crowds into orgasms of anger and resentment and who will, if nominated, destroy what is left of the Republican Party to which he has never been truly attached in the first place.

And in truth: it is Trump's supporters, and not Trump who have finally made up my mind for me.

I will NEVER vote for that piece of garbage, no matter what - because of his corrosive and debasing influence.

It is highly presumptive to name a VP mate, when you are mathematically eliminaTED from winning.

Reasonable people will laugh at him. What is he smoking? Who does he think he is?

This is a move calculated to take some of the spotlight off of Trump's sweep last night.

He is fighting for Indiana right now to enable his Convention strategy but also he needs to lock up support from the GOP in California.  Carly is very well regarded among that group and - once again - it's the folks who are involved who find their way into Cleveland as delegates.

She will be a FANTASTIC foil against Hillary in the General.   She is exponentially smarter and tougher than either Hillary or Elizabeth Warren or anyone else the pathetic Dems throw at the GOP ticket.
