Planning a Trump/Sanders third party run? Combining the Independent & Green ballot access could potentially get enough states to be disruptive.

Quote
In a stunning interview with Breitbart yesterday, Trump campaign spokeswoman Katrina Pierson said that she’s been receiving messages from Sen. Bernie Sanders’ camp that the Vermont socialist’s supporters would come over to Trump if he wins the nomination.

Pierson’s remarks were part of her argument that Trump was the only candidate who could beat Hillary Clinton in the general election.

“I’ve got Sanders people sending me messages — it’s surreal — saying that if they steal the nomination from Bernie they’re voting for Trump,” Pierson said. “So he is definitely the only candidate that can beat Hillary Clinton in the fall.”....

Like all of the PUMA's who were going to vote McCain in 2008. They made a lot of noise on the internet, and amounted to nothing on election day.

If Trump is the nominee, he gets slaughtered (probably by design). Bernie's socialist malcontents aren't going to do a thing to change that.

In fact it seems more like deliberate misinformation to try and build a false sense of confidence.

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

So...anyone still holding to the myth that Trump is a conservative?

What a day.  First the bathroom bit and now Bernie Sanders supporters for Trump.  LOL!  :silly:

How much does it take to make people see?  Or maybe the Trump supporters on the forum were already liberal?  Don't know.  If they still want to support him you would have to wonder.  Universal health care.  Transgender bathroom comments.  Touch back Amnesty.   Abortion.........

I thought about this the other day.  Obama said awhile ago that his policies would continue.  If you vote for Trump they will.

AG William Barr: "I'm recused from that matter because one of the law firms that represented Epstein long ago was a firm that I subsequently joined for a period of time."

Alexander Acosta Labor Secretary resigned under pressure concerning his "sweetheart deal" with Jeffrey Epstein.  He was under consideration for AG after Sessions was removed, but was forced to resign instead.

Katrina Pierson is likely the person who planted the National Enquirer story against Ted Cruz.

She's a pathological liar.  Why on earth would anybody believe this nonsense?

How are the unhappy Sanders supporters different from the anti-Trumps who've stated they will vote for Hillary if Trump is the Republican nominee?

If unhappy Sanders supporters said they would support Cruz or Kasich you'd be ecstatic. As Ronald Reagan stated, you can't build a party or support by subtraction.

Actually, as I noted before, I'd be VERY skeptical.

What a day.  First the bathroom bit and now Bernie Sanders supporters for Trump.

So far, just today, he has: 1) condemned the NC bathroom bill; 2) called for a change in the GOP platform on abortion; 3) called for higher taxes on the "rich"; 4) indicated support for a "pathway to citizenship (amnesty).

There's nothing subtle about it. Today was a sudden and dramatic lurch to the left, at precisely the moment that he believes he has the nomination secured.

And of course, his sycophants are defending him as a brilliant, pragmatic strategerist.

I'm just wondering if he's not going out of his way to force the GOP to deny him the nomination at the convention. He's in this to deliver the presidency to Clinton, that much should be obvious. The only way to make sure that happens is if he runs third party and splits the opposition vote. He needs the GOP to deny him if he's going to guarantee the democrats the White House.

It didn't. You may have missed my disclaimer about wild-a$$ed speculation.

It took awhile to get there.

I could use your BS flag right now.  That is BS no real Conservative would ever vote for Hillary.  People have said they wouldn't vote or write in.  But Trump has given praise to both Hillary and Obama.  Real Conservatives never would do that.

Are you kidding?  Why even speculate it wouldn't happen. That's the difference.  And if it did I would have to question what it was they saw in Cruz or Kasich?  Actually it might happen with Kasich.......

Great observations.  I have been saying that from the start.  He is in it to destroy the Republican chance to win.
Hillary needed him and he has come through for her.

I think I said it before but welcome to the Briefing Room.

You speak of a mythical creature that doesn't exist. Some will vote third party, Some will write-in a candidate, some will not vote at all, and some, yes some will hold there nose and vote for Trump. But I have not heard or read comments by any serious Republican who said they would vote for Hillary.

Jazzhead here, has repeatedly said he would vote for Hillary.

The last time I stated this, he got all agitated, then said it again.
