For 39 years Digger’s Deli has been in business, but the owners are now concerned about whether the doors to their Vacaville, Calif. store can remain open.

Gigi Warshawsky and her husband bought what she calls "Our American Dream",  just a few years ago.

“We bought into it with our savings, with our retirement to buy into this deli and raising minimum wage might put us out of business,” Gigi Warshawsky tells KMAX-TV.

California recently passed a new minimum wage hike to $15 an hour.

“It’s going to be devastating. We’re a mom and pop. They’re aren’t many mom and pops around. We are surrounded by franchises. We are surrounded by box stores,” she said.

KMAX reports, that last year they had 13 employees, now they’re down to 10 and may have to make more cuts.

Since it is Obama's "American Dream" to destroy it, and most business in this country are small businesses, what better way for him to realize his dream than to destroy small business.

Indeed, the ironic part of the leftists and anti-corporate types out there is that raising the minimum wage hurts the very small businesses that even they respect, making people more and more dependent on those evil corporations for jobs.

Or, in their dream world, the government.
