Feds don't patrol highways; that's the jurisdiction of state troopers and local law enforcement.

When Trump supporters come out strongly against his advocacy of shutting up free speech with federal libel laws, I'll get exercised about a rally.

We of the right should respect the rights of others (even those whom we despise) to assemble peacefully. And we do.

All well and good.

But when the left resorts to "non-peaceful" methods by which to disrupt or prevent OUR rights to do so -- then the only reasonable option remaining may be to respond "in kind".
