NY Daily News Police in Washington D.C. are investigating an alleged rape at one of the country’s most prestigious schools.
Investigators are looking into an attack reported by a 17-year-old girl at Sidwell Friends School that took place on school property around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say that she and her 16-year-old boy alleged attacker previously had a sexual relationship, but that she told them she did not consent to what happened on Wednesday, according to WJLA.
Sidwell, which enrolls 1,149 students with many connections to the global elite, has not commented on the investigation, but said that it is cooperating with law enforcement.
The school costs more than $37,000 a year to attend and has educated the children of many prominent figures, including Chelsea Clinton and President Obama’s daughters, who are currently in their senior and freshman years.
