@Slide Rule

AND.....,how many genuine demonstrators wear military "bush hats"?
Tons and tons? https://www.amazon.com/boonie-hat/s?k=boonie+hat

Ever since my top fur took a hike and had to have some cancers removed from my face I do, their great for keeping the sun off and do it much better than baseball caps. I think the feeb types wear more ball caps and watch caps than "bush hats"

Libs, always thinking about others...

Paul Ehrlich, another nut job 1000% wrong that managed to scare the bejeezus out of people with his lies and unsurprisingly helped by the supposed educated and media...even 'comedians' like Johnny Carson helped push the bullshit on his show. Here we are 50 years later well beyond where Ehrlich said there would be mas starvation because the Earth simply could not support the masses.

How many times have these doom and gloom pushers of apocalypses ever  been right? Global cooling, global warming, flood, famine, rising sea levels, asteroid strikes, peak oil, super volcanoes, etc., they just cycle thru the impending dooms to scare people and push their desired socialism and when one doesn't work they just move on to the next.

Camo bush hats? With the floppy brim all the way around and a cinch string? I have at least five of them. Though mostly my gear is coyote tan anymore.  :shrug:

Truthfully,the only people I see wearing bush hats around here are veterans,almost all army vets.

@Cyber Liberty

Why not just pin a shop cloth to the back of your baseball cap using safety pins? That was you still have the long brim to protect your eyes and face.

The brim on most jungle hats is very small,and I don't really protect your neck. There is very little sun inside a jungle,and the brims are designed to keep water and possibly falling debris from going down the collar by your neck.

Or at least the VN-era ones were. The new ones may have larger brims.

Safety matters.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

There are baseball style caps with neck protection, I keep both the Boonie style and the baseball cap style in the car for when I go to my grandson's baseball games, depending on time of day and if our backs are to the sun the baseball style with neck protection is what I will wear. Of course there are lots of variations like a longer bill.

Yes. Ehrlich was a nutzo. Population explosion don't you know. A disproved Malthus concept.
There won't be enough to live. Well, cut government by 75% and we will thrive.

Now the government is working to diminish population by buying doctors instead of buying politicians.

@Slide Rule

I used to live in a "Mexican neighborhood" in Denver, and I keep telling people that as a group, Mexicans may be THE most conservative Americans, but for some reason no one seems to want to believe me.

BTW, despite what those of you may think who are Caucasian and never lived amongst Mexicans, I never had even the first suggestion of anti-white racism directed at me, and I lived in a rented apartment there for a couple of years. Even got nose to nose with a Mexican gangbanger that was related to or dating a neighborhood girl, and had several of my neighbors thank me for running his ass out of the neighborhood. They said THEY  couldn't do it because of possible repercussions to their teenage children, but agreed it needed to be done and thanked me.

I think offering to set him on fire and laughing while watching him try to outrun the flames might have been the "deal sealer". Whatever it was,he was never seen there again after our little "discussion".

I do NOT "play nice" with people that threaten me with violence, and I make no apologies for it, either.

Excellent points. I married a Mexican girl but my children could do commercials for Ireland.

I played on a Black pool team and before that a Mexican pool team. The home bar was right
behind the home of my first red haired girlfriend. She married a cousin.
