@Slide Rule

You should try it and see a side of the American police and court system you don't even suspect exists.

Been there, done that, and didn't even get the T-shirt...

   I wonder why no dem has suggested selling gas by the liter to reduce the prices at the pump?
   It's right up their alley.
No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

@Slide Rule

Easy-peasy once you realize that you mostly "steer" by shifting your body weight. Doesn't take long before you use the handlebars when you need to use the handlebars,and use your shifting weight when you need to do that,instinctively.

Then you can focus on more important things,like brain dead loons steering cars and trucks around if in a city,or just admiring the world and the views it has to offer if riding around outside the city. Yeah,you can look at the scenery while riding in a car,but for some reason it just ain't the same thing.

@Smokin Joe

I was squeaky-clean,too. Had even considered becoming a cop myself at one time.

Didn't take long to change my opinion on cops. If I had lived in Denver for another year or two,I probably would have been sniping at them from rooftops over little crap like the same cops stopping me everytime they saw me to "do a warrants check because you match the description of an individual we are looking for."and then smiling at me. One of them actually told me once that I wanted to stop getting detained and issued BS tickets for imaginary equipment offenses,that I should sell my Harley,and buy a Honda.

He was not amused when I asked him "Why don't you like Harley's? Is it because your mama won't let you ride one?"

I did manage some "get back" on one pair of these clowns one night when riding by a closed car wash,I saw them with two underage teen girls that worked at the donut shop next to the car wash,and one teen was in the front seat with one cop,and the other teen was in the backseat with the second one. I dropped a dime to the Denver Post,and a few minutes later dropped a dime to 9-11 and reported two officers committing statutory rape at the car wash. I,of course,refused to identify myself.

Then I sat back and enjoyed the show.
