I can't see Texans allowing confiscation of their firearms. Just sayin'.....

That's right... But still... Of all our siblings I get along best with Canucks of course - Them being just a little past spitting distance from right here... Then very likely, the Ozzies would be next. Cmon. They love beer, they love tailgates, they love wide open spaces, they make dumb but comfortable nicknames for everything... And they make hella cowboys down that way. That's just redneck with a different sort of drawl...

After that, if you're interested, would likely be the Irish... whiskey and brawling, old beer drinking songs they all seem to know... Fiddles and  line dancing... They fit right in around here.   :laugh:

Irish = Hillbilly

Scotsmen = Rednecks

Even the Welsh would agree with that.   :laugh:

Truer words have never been spoken!

"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

The Battle of Kings Mountain was won by Scottish hillbillies (highlanders).
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

Were they "shootin' at some food"?

To a fair degree, the people the Brits drove to the colonies were the people and parents of the people who out-fought and out-lasted the British army.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

You keep on taking care of Mrs. Fred.  We love her, in our own ways.

Is that Orin Hatch, 2nd from right?

The person to whom you referred is not identified, and doesn't look like Hatch to me.

Roughly five out of six counties in the US said "NO" to Biden.  :thud:

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

oldno7 is correct. That is Orrin Hatch. There is distortion because it's the edge of the pic, but that person is recognizable as Hatch.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.
