The aftermath of Trump buying Democrat politicians to make political 'deals' in his favor.  In this case, Trump was bankrolling an anti-gambling PAC to stop competing casinos from coming into NY.  But hey, that's just business, right?

Wright and then-state Sen. Larry Seabrook brought a lawsuit in 1999 to block the governor from unilaterally approving the project. The suit was funded by the Institute for Law and Society, an upstate anti-gambling group that had been secretly bankrolled by Trump.....
