Trump announces he will take off his coat because the weather is beautiful. Everyone claps. People begin chanting his name in unison.

It's a mania.

In some respects it is. OTOH, Trump has tapped into some real and legit anger, even if I don't always agree with his methods or solutions.
The Republic is lost.

:amen:  They jumped on that last night so quick.  I lost so much respect for  Cruz. What happens now at his rally when BLMs take over????? They may not just target Trump from now on?

Flowers, why did you lose respect for Cruz?  I just read what he said.  Sounds very reasonable.

Eight months of anti-Trump hysteria - FROM THE RIGHT! – helped to build the left-wing-attack-Trump movement.

You all contributed, every one of you.

Face it. Own it. You helped build it.

Cruz doesn't have to worry about any disruption of his rallies.  Do to the size of his crowds, the Girl Scouts are able to handle the security.

Cruz/Rubio/Kasich are getting absolutely hammered by their supporters on Facebook and Twitter.

And deservedly so.

I see it otherwise, along with the majority at FR. People both there, and here, stating displeasure with the other three sleazy characters.

Did you side with the students at Kent State or with the National Guard? Did Nixon "create" that environment?

Answer honestly. It was in your backyard. Students or National Guard? Students then with their socialist enabler George McGovern, and students now with their socialist enabler Bernie Sanders.

Side with rioters, or side with authorities?

Did the mayor of Chicago create the environment? Or the Governor? How about Potus from Chicago, Obama.

The correct answer is: There is no justification for rioting, disrupting meetings, etc.

I don't care what the people at TOS think.  They're mostly crazy over there.

As for Kent State, and my opinion, it's completely irrelevant.  The discussion is whether or not Cruz was on the side of the rioters.

And the answer is unequivocally NO.

And any implication that he was is completely false.  No matter who makes the accusation.
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I'm gonna have to block you.  You keep spamming the board with the same crap.  I'm looking for intelligent conversation, not spam.  Seems only fair to tell you I'm blocking you.

And, not only this board:

I think last night maybe just sealed the nominations for Trump.

It is a Wellstone Memorial type moment.

Voters are not going to be impressed Cruz/Kaisch/Rubio rushed right out to side with the rioters.

Interesting ... all of a sudden the Trump supporters are bashing Cruz, because Cruz didn't come to the "Donald's" defense.  Cruz told the truth.  He told it like it is.  Trump IS responsible for his actions and his words.  To turn this around and lay blame on Cruz is absolutely absurd!  TRUMP IS RESPONSIBLE FOR TRUMP!  Cruz didn't spew the Trump rhetoric; Trump did and Trump needs to take responsibility.  Of course, he's the 'Donald' and he can do no wrong.  Trust me!

Rubio and Kasich seem to have been left out of the equation and I feel that what they stated actually did lay blame ... but the Trump supporters are going after Cruz!  Amazing.

That's because Cruz actually IS fighting the system which Trump is a part of, and he is their greatest threat.

They have to attack Cruz.

Nope. Nice try to spin though.

Cruz responded like a defense lawyer blaming the rape victim for wearing a short skirt.

The tepid intro is merely cover for what is know as a “Yes but”, defense.

Cruz is saying

Yes what was done was wrong BUT it is justified because the victim...

Anyone NOT welded at the hip to a candidate knows that is exactly what this is and will hold Cruz accountable.

Cruz could of had a golden game changing moment and instead he sided with the rioters and the GOPE.

Quite probably a campaign ending mistake for Rubio/Cruz/Kaisch

At least we know that Trump has risen above all this and as a real Statesman, has led by example and worked to unite everyone, especially those who the left has been using. He is the leader we need.... oh wait, never mind.

That is just about the most convoluted pile of crap I have ever read! BS from beginning to end!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

Don't confuse them with that messy truth stuff, AbaraXas.

Cruz is the only villain here.  Don't you know that?
