Eight months of anti-Trump hysteria - FROM THE RIGHT! – helped to build the left-wing-attack-Trump movement.

What the hell is going on with Trump's hair today?

Called Ted Cruz a "liar."

Trump lies when the truth will do.

Trump is beating Ted Cruz in state polls, in primaries already won and in national polls.

ML, I hope you don't think I was singling you out.  You just happened to post something as I was thinking about this very thing.

Oh, no!  I thought we were having a conversation.  :patriot:

I appreciate reading your thoughts about it because I've been doing a lot of thinking too.  I'm not willing to stop posting what I think or believe, but I'm trying to be very careful not to indict anyone here by my words.  Yet even when I'm careful, some here infer that I am talking about them, when I am not.

Example:  My saying (accurately) that Trump is immoral does not in any way imply that people who support him are.  And yet time after time, when I indict Trump (for his serial adultery), someone thinks I am insulting him/her and there's a fight.

I don't WANT to fight.  I checked in on that awful thread last night, and didn't say a word because it got so very, very ugly (on BOTH SIDES).   There are no victims here.  Just people engaged in nasty fisticuffs, and I don't know how it ever ends.

You know very well that there is no "left wing" attack on Trump on this forum.  You know full well that the people you are including in your rant are conservative, and consistent about it.

And if you're honest with yourself, you know that there have been multiple "contributions" from the Trump side of the argument.

This isn't one sided, and you know it.  If I helped build it, then you did too, ac.

YOU are! For continuing to believe Trump is something he very clearly is not! The fact that you are not alone in no way alters that!

The left wing has had their sights on Trump for months and were looking for the excuse, and excuse primarily fomented by the media. The other candidates may have jumped on, but I'm not going as far to state that one is cause for the other, and that the anti-Trumpers are the cause.

That said, I don't think Trump should back down. He does now need better security at his rallies though.

I think last night maybe just sealed the nominations for Trump.

It is a Wellstone Memorial type moment.

Voters are not going to be impressed Cruz/Kaisch/Rubio rushed right out to side with the rioters.

Repeating your spam falsehood that the three other candidates "sided" with the rioters.   **nononono*

Why doesn't anyone on the Trump side stop Johnnie from saying things that are completely false??

Your arguments for Trump would improve if you were honest about him, and his opponents.

Bush bashing isn't going to increase his (minority) support.  The majority of Republicans still respect President Bush, and while smearing him may increase the anger of his (minority) support, it will not increase support for him one iota.

Cruz/Rubio/Kasich are getting absolutely hammered by their supporters on Facebook and Twitter.

So keep lying to yourselves all you want. The truth will be seen Tuesday.

Musiclady, it is a FACT that some Cruz supporters are pissed at the Senator from Alberta, for siding with protesters.

And here is the NYT:

Ted Cruz Says Donald Trump Is to Blame for Violence at His Rallies

Senator Ted Cruz of Texas said on Friday that Donald J. Trump bore responsibility for “creating an environment” that encourages violence at his events.

Speaking to reporters at a local Republican dinner outside Chicago, where Mr. Trump had just canceled a rally amid fierce confrontations between his supporters and protesters, Mr. Cruz began by saying that the “protesters who took violence into their own hands” were responsible for the episode.

“But in any campaign, responsibility starts at the top,” Mr. Cruz continued. “And when you have a campaign that disrespects the voters, when you have a campaign that affirmatively encourages violence, when you have a campaign that is facing allegations of physical violence against members of the press, you create an environment that only encourages this sort of nasty discourse.”

Mr. Cruz invoked the protests and violent police run-ins at the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago, and predicted that future skirmishes were likely.

“When the candidate urges supporters to engage in physical violence, to punch people in the face, the predictable consequence of that is that it escalates,” Mr. Cruz said. “And today is unlikely to be the last such instance.”

Mr. Cruz also suggested that President Obama had stoked tensions since taking office, arguing that the president had “sought to divide us on racial lines, on ethnic lines, on religious lines, on class lines” in moments of crisis.

Cruz is a sleazy political opportunist. Instead of stating all candidates SHOULD BE unified against violent disruptors, Cruz encouraged it.

At another conservative site, FR, many have turned against Cruz for his blatant opportunism, when given a chance to show good judgment.

How is that in any way siding with the protesters?

I happen to believe it is a simple statement of fact. Donald Trump IS at least partially responsible for creating the environment!

Your article makes my point...... that saying that Cruz 'sided with the protestors" is patently false.

He said that Trump bears some responsibility for using violent words and stoking anger, but that it is the leftist protestors who bear the responsibility for what happened.

Again.......... Cruz' words make my point.  He most emphatically did NOT side with the protestors.

So Johnnie's spam posts are not true.

Screw the three of them. My respect for them goes down.

This is like the argument blaming the National Guard for the students that got themselves killed at Kent State, by throwing rocks and urine at the guardsmen.

Blaming the cop, who puts himself in danger, to protect and preserve rights for disruptors, malcontents, instigators, etc.

Those three candidates SHOULD HAVE stood in unity, and said nobody should try to interfere with our political process, our right for peaceful assembly, our right to hold opinions and talk about them publicly, peacefully.

Instead they take the easy low road. Hurray for Megyn Kelly and getting the right and getting it right.

And to hell with those on this site, that side with the disruptors and rioters and communists and Bernie socialists.
:amen:  They jumped on that last night so quick.  I lost so much respect for  Cruz. What happens now at his rally when BLMs take over????? They may not just target Trump from now on?

I see it otherwise, along with the majority at FR. People both there, and here, stating displeasure with the other three sleazy characters.

Did you side with the students at Kent State or with the National Guard? Did Nixon "create" that environment?

Answer honestly. It was in your backyard. Students or National Guard? Students then with their socialist enabler George McGovern, and students now with their socialist enabler Bernie Sanders.

Side with rioters, or side with authorities?

Did the mayor of Chicago create the environment? Or the Governor? How about Potus from Chicago, Obama.

The correct answer is: There is no justification for rioting, disrupting meetings, etc.
