AhlulBayt News Agency - As the U.S.-led coalition intensified its air campaign on headquarters of the so-called Islamic State (ISIS) extremist group, a new airstrike on Tuesday hit a insurgent training camp in northwestern Iraq, killing dozens of militants.

The raid bombed ISIS camp in the Baaj district west of Mosul city in Nineveh province.

“At least 25 insurgent were killed in the strike, including six German nationals,” pokesman of the Nineveh media center Raafat Zarari told Kurdish Media.

The source added that the German militants were identified by the Sharia Court in Mosul subsequent to the airstrike.

“The Germans were training recruits in the Baaj jihadi camp when the airstrike targeted the area on Tuesday,” Zarari reported.
