This time it wasn't just repeating what CNN said by some staffer.

This afternoon in Sparks Nevada.  Donald Trump told voters that all the candidates had left the State of Nevada in the morning, and were unworthy of their support.  Here is Trump saying it: (video at link)

No danger of that.  What worries me is the four years of Hillary Clinton that Trump's nomination will ensure.

That's what scares me to death.

Trump is preying on the anger of Republican voters with his pretense of being on their side, is fomenting even fiercer anger, and may well (God help us) win the nomination with a third of party voters, and will as sure as the sun rises, LOSE to Hillary Clinton.

We are doomed either way.  I've said it before, and I'll say it again.  The Republic is over if Trump is our nominee.

--Loss of 5 out of the last 6 popular votes for President ?

--Inability to grow the brand (or or even hold even) ??

--Inability to unite within itself ??

The GOP is the 3rd largest entity, after Independents and Democrats. And shrinking.

At one point in time, the GOP represented core conservative values based upon the very principles upon which this country was founded and the Constitution.  Over time the GOP has lost its way in pandering to the left in order to try to beat them at their own game and it hasn't worked.  As Cruz pointed out on the Senate floor when he called out McConnell for being a liar; there is no difference in party, when party leadership continuously sides with the other party.

This election is it.  We either elect someone who will bring the GOP back to our core conservative values or we lose our party and along with it our country.  The GOP cannot expect to remedy shortfalls when the shortfalls that they have are liberal ideals.  Liberalism hasn't worked and won't work.  The Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton supporters will soon find out that if either one of their candidates is elected this country will collapse under their liberal/socialist leadership as the 'programs' and promises they make are not sustainable.

IF Trump does by chance become POTUS it is yet to be seen whether or not he will do what he has been claiming he will do for months or if he will lean towards the liberal ideals in order to make deals that will benefit Trump instead of the country.

We have the House, Senate, a majority of Governorships, and State Legislators.

How will Trump improve on that? Does he actually have coattails? Being he's polling the least likely to beat Hillary, I don't see how that can be.

Interesting you should ask. I listened to Paul Ryan a couple of days ago, probably on Fox. He reminded that without a veto proof majority there was little a GOP Congress could do.

I'll give you the benefit of doubt that you grasp the logic and math of this important fact.

??? I didn't realize that it had been determined that Rubio and Cruz were not eligible to run for President.  Last time I checked, they've been found to be eligible and put on the ballot to run for POTUS in the past several elections.

I don't think (I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong) that determination has been made yet.  I know there have been a few challenges in court - but I think it's mostly been ruled that the challengers don't have standing to challenge - or something like that.  I do believe that the Democrats are holding their cards on this right now - waiting for the right time to mount challenges at the appropriate times, in the appropriate crucial states. 

If I were a Democrat strategist, I would lie in wait with the hopes that the GOPe will take Trump out (as you know they are trying to do) - in the hope that Cruz or Rubio will end up as the candidate, and THEN I would initiate legal challenges in all 50 states.  An October Surprise, with the intent of creating just enough doubt among the electorate when it is too late to go back.

I also find it ironic that Cruz, of all people, the Constitutional Protector that he is supposed to be - is running right now, having denounced his Canadian citizenship just two short years ago, when I assume he decided to run for President.  He, of all people, knows that using an originalist interpretation of the Constitution, that he is NOT eligible. 

The powers-that-be (and I include the Republican leadership in that group) sat back and willfuly ignored Obama's eligibility issues - therefore, setting a precedent of ignoring Constitutional eligibility - although Obama's was a case of a possible fraudulent birth certificate.  Now, we have several candidates running with birth issues...

....and here I will put on my tinfoil hat with pride...

....the powers-that-be are now what we call Globalists.  They have been playing a long game plan to destroy our Constitution, so that a scenario of someone - say the son of a radical Islamist terrorist (as an example) - could run for United States president and not one thing would be done to challenge it, because of precedents already set before. 

I would suggest that when buying tinfoil for your hats - get the new "non-stick" kind - it works even better!

Now, I don't like exaggerations.  That 'most Hispanic votes in Nevada' was really just 42% of all Hispanics who voted in the Republican caucus and were surveyed in the exit polls.

Do you know how many Hispanic, in total, that survey canvassed?
