Trump’s Lead Grows with Jeb Out of the Race

uesday, February 23, 2016

With Jeb Bush out, Donald Trump has widened his lead in the race for the Republican presidential nomination.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Republican Voters finds Trump with 36% support, giving him a 15-point lead over Senator Marco Rubio who earns 21% of the vote. Senator Ted Cruz is in third place with 17%.

For Trump, that’s a five-point gain in support from the beginning of this month just after the Iowa caucus and right before the New Hampshire primary when it was Trump 31%, Rubio 21% and Cruz 20% among likely GOP voters.  Rubio’s support has held steady, while support for Cruz has fallen slightly.

In mid-December, Trump led with 29% Republican support, with Cruz in second with 18% and Rubio at 15%.

Republican, Democrats, Libertarians, Independents, and people of voting age who have never voted in their life are all desperate to see government corruption's chokehold on their lives come to an end.

The survival of the democratic process set up under the U.S. Constitution is what is at stake in this election.

We have gone full circle, and arrived once again to the Gilded Age of politics in America.

Still no more than about one-third of the vote.   Trump's support is solid, but it isn't growing.  Two thirds of those who vote in GOP primaries oppose Trumpism.   In the larger world, just about everybody else does too.

No one's more Gilded than Trump.   His ass will be beaten so badly in the GE it'll make the Trumpsters' head spin 360 degrees,  just like that possessed girl in the Exorcist.

What is the main reason you want Marco Rubio to run the White House?

As more candidates drop out, Trump will gain some of their supporters.  His numbers will grow, as those of the remaining candidates will.  This silly argument that more people don't like him than do - is just that - silly!  That is the case for every candidate right now!  Duh!

We told you Trump would win - bigly!

Underneath they hype, chest-beating, brow-beating, 'MY GUY WILL KICK YOUR GUY'S ASS' is the very real and substantial undercurrent of where this country is headed, who will OWN it, who will CONTROL it, and IF it will survive.

The answer is that a house divided cannot stand.  Those words were uttered in 1858 three years before the American Civil War.

The problem with another Civil War occurring in the United States now is that America would be conquered not by Americans, but by a combination of Russians and Chinese coming in to pick up the pieces.

I'm for John Kasich - he's got experience, credentials and he's conservative, principled and compassionate.
