Terrorist, BDS, Supporters in UK Aiding Bernie Sanders

Daniel Greenfield

Troubling news from Bernie Sanders' brother about the kind of illegal support he's getting from terrorist supporters in UK.

Larry isn’t so sure that his brother is more moderate, however. “Bernard is a genuine socialist in his sense of class warfare—that he thinks there is not a national interest so much as there is an interest with sectors of the population,” he said. “In that sense, his passion and the sense of conflict between the major owners and the rest of the population is very socialist—as socialist as Corbyn.”

Some of the Corbynistas have been helping Larry and the London for Bernie organization to raise awareness about the global primary, which allows Americans abroad to send delegates—and even some super delegates—to the Democratic convention. Larry said Corbyn supporters within the Labour Party had helped to arrange for UNITE, Britain’s largest union, to allow Bernie’s supporters to hold events in their buildings for free. The union confirmed that the group used its rooms without charge.

The move might be a violation of U.S. campaign finance law depending on who was involved, according to the former general counsel for the Federal Election Commission.

“A foreign national cannot spend any money or give anything of value for a U.S. election,” Larry Noble, general counsel for the Campaign Legal Center said. The question here is whether the Sanders campaign knew, approved, or directly benefited from the free space.

UNITE recently endorsed BDS against Israel. This would fit with Larry Sanders' own support for BDS and the past history of Bernie Sanders in opposing arms to Israel before the Yom Kippur War.

But the Corbyn cult is even nastier and more toxic than that. Corbyn has described Hamas and Hezbollah as "friends". And those around him are even worse.

Video footage has come to light of Mr Corbyn speaking at a rally against the Gaza war in 2009, at which his close associates were cheered on stage as they praised Hamas.

Mr Corbyn was recorded hailing the protest as a “massive and magnificent demonstration”.

Most controversially, the Labour leader’s new director of communications and strategy, Seamus Milne, defended the Palestinian people’s “right to resist” and declared that Hamas “will not be broken”.

The rally was also addressed by Azzam Tamimi, a radical academic who has been accused of defending suicide attacks and recently described Mr Corbyn as his “great friend”.

Mr Tamimi told the demonstration: “Hamas is our leader to liberation… Today, we are all Hamas.”

And Corbyn's setup has Hamas backing.

The leadership campaign of Jeremy Corbyn was part-funded by a man closely connected to the EU-designated terror group Hamas, it has been alleged.

Dr Ibrahim Hamami, an outspoken supporter of the Palestinian Islamic group, reportedly gave £2,000 to Mr Corbyn in August.

The GP, who is also a supporter of the current spate of violence in Israel, is one of just three key individuals to have made donations to Mr Corbyn’s campaign.

Just last month, Labour’s candidate for London Mayor, Sadiq Khan, launched a devastating assault on Mr Corbyn, claiming that he risked inciting terrorist and anti-Semitic attacks in London.

When asked to comment on Mr Corbyn’s alleged connections to Hamas and Hezbollah, Mr Khan said Labour had to ditch its ‘anti-Jewish’ image, which was ‘not acceptable’ in Britain.

It shouldn't be acceptable in the US either.
