Donald Trump holds double-digit lead in S.C. just days before the Feb. 20 vote, with Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio in a close race for 2nd, according to a Monmouth University Poll.

Trump at 35%
Cruz at 19%
Rubio 17%
John Kasich at 9%
Jeb Bush 8%
Ben Carson 7%

54% of S.C. voters say country needs someone outside of govt as the next president; 32% says someone with govt experience

NOTE: Survey of 400 likely S.C. Republican voters conducted Feb. 14-16 has error margin +/- 4.9 ppts

That's interesting. 54% say that the country needs a non govt' type yet 53% of them are voting for a govt' type.
