A female driver was killed by a flying manhole cover that crashed through her windshield on a major Boston highway during Friday's morning commute. Caitlin Clavette, an art teacher from Milton, was clipped by the dislodged cover around 7:50am as she exited the Thomas P. O'Neill Jr. Tunnel in the southbound lane, Massachusetts State Police said, CBS Boston reported.After the manhole cover struck the driver's windshield, the Honda SUV continued forward on Interstate 93 south for about half a mile before striking a wall on the left shoulder and coming to a stop.
