Little Jebbie spent $36 million in New Hampshire for exactly ZERO delegates!

The establishment REALLY REALLY wants little Jebbie!

Well, the "establishment" and people who decide on who to vote for based on a resume and not on fiery speeches and braggadocio.

Florida added more than 1.3 million jobs while he was in office.

Florida's unemployment rate was a full point below the national average.

Bush reduced taxes by $19 billion doing things like offering consumer tax holidays, and cutting investors taxes

Bush reduced the size of the state government by privatizing foster care, adoption services, legal representation for death row prisoners, human resources, state purchasing, and state parks. All told he moved 13,000 positions off of the state payroll — more than 10 percent of the government in Florida.

Florida's economy grew by an average of 7.2 percent under Bush, while the U.S. grew by 5 percent during the same period.

Under his direction, the State went from $1.9 billion to $9.8 billion in cash reserves.

Florida received AAA credit rating for the time under Bush.

Bush governed as a solid pro-life Governor, being the first in the nation to push through "Choose Life" State license plates with a portion of the fees ging to assist pregnant women. Jeb led the fight to keep Terri Schiavo alive.

Bush opened the nation's first faith-based prison.

He ended affirmative action for State workers, State contractors and University admissions.

He established Florida's first state-wide voucher program, expanded charter schools, and instituted standardized testing. Kids

Bush moved Medicaid recipients to private managed-care plans, reducing the costs to taxpayers.

Bush signed the nation's FIRST "stand your ground" law. His NRA lifetime rating is A+

Nine hurricanes slammed into Florida during Bush's terms as governor. Eight of them is a 14-month period of time. Even his harshest critics praise his ability to take charge and manage a State through an emergency.

He left office with a 64% approval rating.

Now, you may want to hand the job of POTUS to a guy who argues well, but has zero Executive experience, or to a guy with lots of showmanship who's biggest qualification appears to be that he's made (and lost) lots of money, and that is your choice to make, but some people would rather support a candidate based on real and measurable on-the-job accomplishments than on speeches and vague promises of how things will be.

Jeb Bush is pro life. In words and in actions.

Jeb Bush is pro 2nd Amendment. In words and in actions.

Jeb Bush believes in smaller government. He made government smaller while in office.

Jeb Bush battled the Teacher's Unions and beat them.

Jeb Bush helped create jobs and increase wealth through tax cuts.

Jeb Bush is a pro-life, pro Second Amendment fiscal conservative.

He governed that way.

But I guess that being a pro-life, pro Second Amendment fiscal conservative who believes in reducing the size and scope of government no longer qualifies someone as a conservative.

Go figure.

If it comes down to a Trump vs Cruz battle, we win either way in my opinion....

Don't be surprised if Trump came out the winner in a one-on-one with Cruz. But, I suspect we will never get the chance to know the outcome of that hypothetical.

On further reflection I think you're right. Trump has shown it would be a huge mistake to underestimate him. I would expect cruz to win a one on one but nothing would surprise me. We'll all see soon enough where it ends up

I was thinking that if either one gets the nomination and kasich continues to show some support they may choose him as a running mate. The lure of a red ohio will be compelling

No, it doesn't count for anything anymore - unless you wrap it in rhetoric preaching fear of foreigners and brown people.

I concur! Said the same thing to my wife last night.

The left is always pushing that racism meme on republicans concerned about middle class wage stagnation because of open borders, uncontrolled immigration (and also Islamic terrorism).

It's insulting coming from them, too.

That's the point. They mean to insult us. Even when one of them tries to build a rational case for their man, at the end, an insult is inserted because they just can't help themselves.

It's insulting for the Trumpsters to keep pushing the meme that mainstream conservatives like me are RINOs and GOPe and even "haters" of the Dear Leader and his minions.

My characterization of Trump's poisonous rhetoric is entirely accurate.   A pig can't proclaim when it wallows in mud that it doesn't smell bad.

I have a delicate constitution. I'm easily upset by the sight of a felon who sold State Department influence running for president. Just a little quirk of mine.

Need to toughen up there cupcake.. :)

It intrigues me how these candidates change over the campaign.  Hilary was "I am Great etc etc" but her concession speech was "free stuff for everyone"...

Maybe the first time ever that a campaign was sunk by a bridge.

Not when your name is Bush and your own party has turned against your family.

The center-right has a solid fraction, that have evaluated recent performances, and decided to throw out "checklist" conservatism, in favor of emotion and results and major topics.

Immigration, terrorism, jobs, companies leaving the country, etc.

Agreed.

we win

Except if neither Cruz nor Trump can win the general election.   Then we all lose.

Even with the weakness of Clinton and the socialism of Sanders, we are taking a huge chance by nominating either of these frighteningly unpopular and divisive folks.  Let's stop living in a bubble and at least try to appreciate how much of the rest of the nation despise Trump and Cruz.  It's one hell of a hurdle to overcome.

Mine too.  To me,  that's an even bigger scandal than her e-mail server.  So many of the donations to the Clinton Foundation came from foreigners seeking to buy influence.   It is not unreasonable to question Clinton's patriotism.

"... and results" is not a factor.

In fact, the exact opposite is the truth.

The two leading candidates have no record (to speak of) related to the duties of the office they seek, and since they have no record, and all that's driving their support is rhetoric, there are no "results" to gauge the candidate by.

If you never swing a bat at a baseball, you never strike out.

You can however, become an expert on (and a critic of) the batting records of others.

So now, you can stand somewhere in that stadium and tell others how you would have hit that ball out of the park, right after the actual batter struck out.

That's Trump and Cruz right there, in a nutshell
