Maybe Trump wasn't bluffing all those other times he talked about running, he was just waiting for American politics to get stupid enough.

A point that I had not previously considered, but definitely a possibility.

With Sanders and Trump winning in NH, things have gotten about as stupid as they can get and still have a shred of a country left.

If either of them wins in November, we're done.

Kaput.
Character still matters.  It always matters.

I wear a mask as an exercise in liberty and love for others.  To see it as an infringement of liberty is to entirely miss the point.  Be kind.

You can turn off autocorrect on phones/tablets.  It's different for each maker, but a google search will find the way if you put in the maker of the tablet and "turn off autocorrect".

Thank you! I win find it and turn it off in the morning . It's a Samsung android!

Congrats to the Trump people.  They worked for and earned it.

Question:  with 4 electoral votes up for grabs, it looks very significant that Trump's huge win netted him about the same number of actual votes as Hillary's significant loss.  So....doesn't that look like a pretty clear prediction the state will go Dem?

I still say the whole primary system is messed up and needs to be completely redone.

Thanks Rat Patrol!

We've all been saying the primary system is a mess for years now, doesn't look like they want to change it.

No, it doesn't mean that, total Republican and Democrat votes were very equal - the Republicans look to be a bit more than 10,000 ahead of Democrats as of now.  The state will be contested depending on who the candidates end up being.

Closed Primaries and no day of election registrations would go a long way.

Jeb is tightening up to Cruz just a little bit now at 72% counted.

In comparison?

Sanders wins by 22% over the only other person in the race
Trump wins by185 in a field of eight and crushing the next two (almost next 3) together. no matter how you cut it, it's a resounding victory

At 73% however, Cruz has that bit of breathing room back (that 150 votes he lost in the last report he got back)!

Interesting results ( at 76% reporting).

"Establishment" - 46%
Trump - 34.5%
Cruz - 11.5%

So in essence, "Establishment" 46%, outsiders 46%.

If the real battle here is outsiders v. "the establishment", then that's the only way you can view the vote.

Trump and Cruz may be both outsiders, but they don't appeal to the same voters.

It's a long game.

Amazing that on CNN right now Cruz, Jeb, and Rubio all at 11% (with rounding). Just under 2,000 separate the three of them... razor thin.

You forgot Carson and Fiorina which brings the anti vote up to 52% if I'm not

Fiorina endorses an establishment candidate and I have a suspicion that so will Carson.

They're auditioning for cabinet posts.

Hardly.

Because they are showing % of precincts instead of % of votes it's impossible to make mathmatical calculations re possible changes for third place. Have to wait until the fat lady is singing

Yes. And neither of them will support Cruz or Trump.

I seem to recall they all took the same pledge to support the nominee, no?

Carson just today said he is open to being Trump's VP.
Carly I do not know.  She seems to me as the type that will support whoever the nominee is no matter what.  She may fit in neither group.

WHen they drop out, who will they support?

Not Trump or Cruz. I'm wiling to bet on it.

I'll bet on it.

Wanna bet?

I have no idea what they'll do, don't sit in on the "counsels" and have no idea of anything related to them except that Trump and Carson have said they are friendly with each other, which I certainly wouldn't credit as something decisive.

My point is that you don't know any more than the rest of us do...you just act like it.  Did you get your bluster training at the School of Trump?
