Trump lacks the temperament to be President.  Forget for a moment his stands on the issues.   He's an impulsive,  egotistical, unscrupulous, vindictive guy, unmoored from principle.   He's the landlord and serial litigant from hell.

Temperament? Well, Harry Truman was known as "give 'em hell Harry" for a reason, his temperament. Lyndon B Johnson was famous for his temperament. My guess is many presidents were probably hotheads.

I feel that way too...maybe it is because I've always lived in extremely far left wing parts of the country, where all the leftist lies are not only believed but you are ostracized if you are not in complete agreement.  Where Christians are despised and reviled, where my neighbors have bumper stickers that proclaimed: Kill Bush (one even had that sign in one of their windows, loud and proud).  Years of being told by my bosses that I had to hire this or that person for diversity.  And eight years of the beloved Obama (here, he still is largely) turning wrong into right...yeah, there are limits to a calm demeanor.

Well then, you should consider yourself blessed.  I know too many young adults still living with their parents because they owe huge student loans, are working at restaurants for minimum wage, can't afford mandated health insurance.....my niece just turned 26 and had to go off her parent's health insurance - it traumatized her so much that she had to see a counselor and get medication for her anxiety!

The small city I live in - two major employers announced right before Christmas - the laying off of almost 1200 employees - good paying union jobs.  I come from the land of coal - need I say more?

There's a lot of anger around these parts.  I heard not too long ago that the state where Trump is the most popular is West Virginia - (coal?).
