South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott will endorse Marco Rubio on Tuesday, a Rubio campaign source told CNN, a potentially significant boost for the Florida senator in the third-in-the-nation voting state.

No other details were immediately available.

Scott has been hosting town hall events with Republican presidential hopefuls over the past few months.

Kind of a big deal considering how well respected Tim Scott is.

The sands are starting to settle.

'll predict at least 4 more high visibility endorsements for various candidates between now and NH. Not too many more - the brass don't like to look bad by backing a losing horse. The big flurry will come between NH and SC. After SC, they run the risk of being labelled coat-tail riders.
