Tim Allen Says Clintons Are Like Herpes: ‘Just When You Think They’re Gone, They Show Up Again’

Apparently, not everybody in Hollywood is a raging crackpot.

Case in point: actor-comedian Tim Allen. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, he offered a few common-sense observations about politics.

For example, he said that Bill and Hillary Clinton are just like herpes simplex.

Allen also said that Lady Pantsuit and the batty socialist from Vermont have turned the Democratic party into the “free shit party.”

We’re liking this.

“When you watch the debates, on both sides you see clowns who say shit that ain’t ever gonna happen, but lately one party is the free shit party,” Allen explained. “When you say you’re going to get free education, free health care, f— free brown loafers — of course everybody’s going to say yes to that. But you don’t mean it. That’s how you rack up debt, and debt is killing us. Whatever party is going to get us out of debt is my party.”

Please, go on.

“Bernie Sanders, as nice a guy as he is, none of that shit’s going to happen,” he said.

Don’t let us interrupt you.

“[T]he Clintons are like herpes: Just when you think they’re gone, they show up again,” Allen said.

It’s also worth noting that the comparison between the Clintons and a venereal disease is appropriate for more than one reason.

If you haven't caught his show LAST MAN STANDING, do so.
Its not only a good clean family sitcom (the last one standing), he also pokes fun at Obama, Hillary, and Liberals in general for 100 episodes now. Tim Allen plays Mike Baxter, a family man and an executive of a sporting-goods chain and a strong conservative, who on just about on every episode skewers Liberals and their ideology, and does so in a very effective way getting our message across to a very large TV audience. Its really the only weekly TV series we watch.

  • Cats rule. Dogs drool.
Always considered him one of the good ones. His autobiography, "Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man" is funny and poignant. He bleeped up, he freely admits it, he got help and got clean.

Some of his humor isn't to my taste - it veers into Dad joke territory too often for me, but I'll always watch him on TV. Movies, that's a different story ....

Edit because a bleepable word I used was not in the bleeper!  :tongue2:
