I'm not pissed, I would expect this. When you stop having only boring, uninteresting candidates to choose from this kind of response is inevitable.

I think the next several days leading up to the caucuses will be fascinating to watch the chatter.

This particular online polling scheme blocks repeat 'click-voting' by registering the IP address and disables the poll to be spammed.

Also, this particular online poll (Drudge) has not missed a single upward/downward trajectory trend in any of the post-debate polls.

He and Megyn Kelly could start their own online polling business.

My suspicion...we will see if it is so...is that outside of Trump, you have nothing but Mitt Romneys - dull, flat and unable to capture the imagination of the voters. They would sleep walk to defeat, with no one but a small conservative base to support them and a bunch of people just flipping a coin and not caring.  Once again, it would be all Democrat all the time. Trump is the only one that will change that math.

I reward Trump for doing what virtually all Republicans have been talking about for years; namely telling the networks to straighten up on debates, or lose them.

I said yesterday the other candidates should join him in boycotting Fox.

Trump gave those vets a chance to impress, and impress they did. SFC John Wayne Walding was amazing, just amazing.

He talked about vets committing suicide, and he gave a nod to Vietnam Era vets, who were spit on and called baby-killers by democrats of the day.

Any way Trump is over 51% in the /Drudge poll, Cruz remains at 23%

Alice, I have no idea if this poll paints an accurate picture, though I'd wager it is more right than wrong. What I do know, having seen it with my own eyes, is that the rest of the Republican field cannot even generate one watt of electricity all together.  If Trump suddenly left the race, there would no interest at all in the Republican nominating process anywhere in the country. It would go from being The story in the country to no interest at all anywhere in a flash. Any interest there is out there in other candidates is merely reflected off Trump or is based on their exchanges with Trump...they generate no public interest on their own.

I like the way you stated it there.

I had no desire this evening to watch that debate.  I already knew what they were going to say, and how they were going to say it - I had no interest in it at all.  I'm fascinated to see what will happen next.  Trump certainly keeps you on the edge of your seat, waiting to see what he will do or say.

Hey,  I love a clown, too - but I'm not so irresponsible as to support a clown for President.   Clowns are for my kids' birthday parties - Trump supporters think this is some party game;  they preen about the polls, getting off on watching their Dear Leader bully the hated conservative "establishment".

All the Trump supporters reveal is how pathetic and needy they are.   The rest of us want to pick a President.

You mean serious candidates who talk about issues?  Those boring people??

btw, this question has nothing to do with the debate.

Let's review.

For my support of Donald Trump I've been called a stooge, duped, stupid, emotional, irresponsible, a moron, vulgar, a bully, pathetic, needy (I wish I could remember all the names sinkspur used on me).

So, is that about it? Are all of you holier than thou Cruz etc. supporters finished with the name calling, yet?

Just let us know when it's safe for rational discussion again. Maybe after your anger, disappointment and bewilderment at Trump's political success subsides ...

For those doubting the integrity of this poll, do this:

Go in and vote for your candidate.

Refresh the page.

Now try and vote for you candidate again.

It won't accept your second vote, even if you attempt to cast more than one vote an hour, day, or week later.

As ignorant as I am about technical things, even I know that you can get around that easily.

Internet polls never were, nor are, dependable.

That's why Ron Paul won every poll when he had about 2% of the vote.

They cheated.

You mean serious candidates who talk about issues?  Those boring people??

btw, this question has nothing to do with the debate.

They can talk issues until they are blue in the face - no one who decides whether or not they will have any ability to do anything about those issues will listen to them.  First, you have to get the voters to willingly listen.  Mitt Romney was a serious candidate who talked about the issues.  How much has Mitt Romney been able to do these last four years about those issues he talked about? To make any of this exercise the least bit relevant, first you must win.  75% of the people in this country couldn't even name a Republican candidate except Trump. He sucks all the air out of the room - which is what it takes to win in 2016.
