RNC drops NBC as debate host
« on: January 27, 2016, 08:32:24 pm »
Just as a reminder that the GOPe is apparently afraid of NBC.

Also note the National Review will be a host of this debate, now.  After their vicious attacks on Trump, I won't blame him for skipping this trap, too.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) has formally split with NBC for its debate next month in Houston, announcing Monday that it will partner with CNN to broadcast the event.

The debate was originally slated to take place Feb. 26 at the University of Houston. Now it will take place a day earlier, Feb. 25, in Houston at a location that has yet to be announced.

Spanish-language media company Telemundo will continue to co-host the event, along with conservative magazine National Review and radio network Salem Communications, RNC chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement.

The RNC had announced in late October that it would pull out of the NBC debate over the conduct of CNBC moderators during the third GOP debate in Colorado.
