Rock Hill, South Carolina (CNN)A Muslim woman wearing a hijab was escorted out of Donald Trump's campaign event on Friday by police after she stood up in silent protest during Trump's speech.

Rose Hamid, a 56-year-old flight attendant sitting in the stands directly behind Trump, stood up Friday during Trump's speech when the Republican front-runner suggested that Syrian refugees fleeing war in Syria were affiliated with ISIS.

Trump has previously called for a temporary ban on Muslims entering the U.S.

Despite her silence, Trump supporters around her began chanting Trump's name -- as instructed by Trump campaign staff before the event in case of protests -- and pointed at Hamid and Marty Rosenbluth, the man alongside her who stood up as well.

As they were escorted out, Trump supporters roared -- booing the pair and shouting at them to "get out." One person shouted, "You have a bomb, you have a bomb," according to Hamid.

I highly doubt it.  Trump seems to really be invincible.  The only thing that will cause Trump to step down or stop him is Trump himself (for illness or other personal reasons).

This is the way I see this.  She was sitting in the stand behind Trump wearing a hijab - so they did not have a problem with letting a Muslim in, and letting them sit in a prominent place where the cameras would see her.  So, there was no prejudice involved there.

When she stood up in silent protest (in a highly visible location) - she was trying to disrupt Trump's speech - at a private event.  Trump is NOT Bernie Sanders - he is not going to allow disrupters to be on the stage with him!  Silent protest in such a fashion (and you know it was premeditated) is still a disruption when it takes place on the stage.  He had a right to eject her.

It's my understanding that they usually have a section at these events where protesters can exercise their free speech - just not on the stage.

Let me ask you people that are so upset about this - other than Bernie - do you know any other candidate that would allow such a thing at their events?  Do you think Hillary would?  Ted Cruz?  Rand Paul?  Marco Rubio?  Carly Fiorina?  Seriously????????

There were 10s of millions of Nazis and I'm certain that there were many fine human beings amongst them.  But like Nazism, very much like it actually as they are very similar philosophies and systems considering one was mostly secular and the other pretends to be a religion, Islam is a cancer on humanity that needs to be utterly and completely defeated.  It is a "religion" of tyranny, torture and murder - it has no redeeming value.  Islam is an aggressive tyrannical political movement bent on world conquest and domination by force. Wherever it dominates it creates a dark age.

I don't care how many Muslims are decent people, it is not enough to overcome the murderous, tyrannical nature of the religion and philosophy they adhere to.  In the old west there was a widely known and understood saying: "you ride with outlaws, you die with outlaws." Like with the Nazis, we can't parse who is good from who is bad, because in the end it is ALL bad and must all be destroyed.  My suggestion to those "good" Muslims, renounce your religion or go back to those Hell-holes where people are happy to live under tyranny.
